I love movies. I love cinema. However, I have not been to a theater in years. Once my favorite pass time seems like something so far away. I miss that feeling you have when you go out with a friend to dinner and a movie following. Tonight made me realize this. I went to see 21 Jump Street an original iconic movie from my childhood and also starring my favorite actors. I forgot just how much more exciting a movie is on such a large screen. It's something I would like to make a habit of.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you exactly what happened in the movie, because if you're that interested then you need to go see it. I know many people stay away because of the price, but for me I quickly got over that. As I sat in the seat I was excited, not just for the movie, but for the experience. I almost felt like a little kid awaiting the circus. That sounds so funny considering how many times in the past I had been in that very spot. I could go on all day about the emotions swimming through my head but that would be redundant.
In the shortest explanation that I can give...an exciting movie can make you dangerously drive fast, a scary movie may make you paranoid, a romance flick makes you dreamy, but from my experience a funny comedy makes you giddy and happy. I loved my night out.
